JIS B2220 20K FF flange
There are many different styles of flange plates that are used for different purposes. The blind plate acts as a cover or cap for a pipe and is used to seal or block off a pipe. The slip-on style of plate allows the plate to be slid onto a pipe and then welded in place. Using the socket weld-style of plate on the ends of two pipes allow them to be easily connected and disconnected.
Carbon steel flange, that is, a flange plate or end flange connection made of carbon steel. It contains a flange made of carbon steel, called a carbon steel flange. Common materials are cast carbon steel grade WCB, forgings A105, or Q235B, A3, 10#, #20steel, 16 manganese, 45 steel, Q345B, etc.
Usually to prevent rust flange surface has an electroplating layer (yellow zinc, white zinc, etc.), or brush antirust oil and spray antirust paint.
